The Intermunicipal Community of Tâmega e Sousa aims to carry out common interests to the 11 municipalities that comprise it, more specifically: Amarante, Baião, Castelo de Paiva, Celorico de Basto, Cinfães, Felgueiras, Lousada, Marco de Canaveses, Paços de Ferreira , Penafiel and Resende.

With a population of around 410,000 inhabitants, a population density of 223 inhab./km2, corresponding to 11.4% of the population of the North region, it is one of the youngest regions in the country.

It is characterized by the growing concentration of the population in urban centers and by the depopulation of rural and peripheral areas, similar to what happens in the rest of the country.

“Experiences, emotions and adventures in communion with nature. Among mountains and rivers, historic centers and villages, in an authentic landscape.” This was the motto associated with this large-scale project and which guided us throughout the development.

On this website, aggregator of diverse information for the citizens of this northern region as well as for the tourists who visit it, we can access the latest news, events, areas of intervention, services by municipality, tourist routes, documents, reports and another set of useful information for all users.

On the other hand, other tools/ functionalities were also developed, such as: electronic newsletters as well as landing pages to promote certain projects.
